Bergen International Light Festival

Bergen International Light Festival

Urban remapping project for Bergen International Light Festival.

How to create a new line, a new context.

Because of the 2021 you-know-what-situation everything was done via Zoom, with Birk Nygaard as the local boss of coordination, construction, design help ++

Very simple concept highlighting standard meter, also the distance between us, personal space ´20/´21.
And also the larger context, the way cities change shape and volume when people stay off the streets.

Random fact: In 1960 the meter was redefined as 1,650,763.73 wavelengths of orange-red light, in a vacuum, produced by burning the element krypton (Kr-86)
